Today Mr Chua started with a new story 'Romeo and Juliet'. This story is about one couple romantic story. This scene is on Romeo and Juliet first met in a party. They were in love with each other after the first met, but sadly their families rivals. Mr Chua asked us to pair up with one of our classmate and do the character trait that we were assign to do. I was asked to do romeo. I think Romeo is a Charming, Sociable guy. Then Mr Chua let us see the video on Act 1 Scene 5 to let us have a better understanding. I think that the story in literature not only can improve our English, it also improve our understanding of these stories.

Lesson 11 (26-03-2010)

Today we have 2 period of literature altogether. The first period, Mr Chua gave us a paper on the topic of imagery. It is about how Romeo decribes Juliet when he first saw Juliet. He told the guys to learn the words Romeo speak so the can use it to describe girls. Then he ask us to do the worksheet while he explaining the meaning of each lines. At the end of the lesson, he told us to do the worksheet on the person i love as homework. To me, the person i love is my baby cousin. He was really cute to me and make me feel no worries when i played with him. He was a jade in our family. The second period, Mr Chua brought us to the movers and shakers gallery. He gave us a piece of worksheet with questions on our fore fathers. He called us to pair up and find the answer together without copying each other but help each other with the questions. I think Mr Chua intention is to make us teamwork and help each other without copying each other work.
